Everyone wants the dream...to hear "cha-ching" while you're out living life to the fullest. Me? I just like to hear it while I'm making dinner or doing the laundry. I don't need a fancy vacation jet-setting life. I simply want my business to continue to be a building block for financial freedom. I want the ability to buy what we want or need without stress and you don't need to make 6 figures to improve your life.

I hear people tout making 6 figures as if it's the only milestone that matters. Yes, you should be proud of reaching that, if that is your goal. But I think sometimes it causes people to get frustrated that they aren't seeing bigger results as quickly as they'd like. They are focusing so much on a number that they miss all the smaller wins along the way.

I was thinking about this artist I know that is struggling to pay bills. I frequently hear her talk about "once I make life changing money....," but her vision of life changing starts and ends with 6 figures.
She hasn't considered that making enough to cover groceries is life changing money. Enough to make a car payment is life changing money. She's stuck looking for that one thing that's going to be a game changer that she's missed the opportunity to just get started with a simple product that could contribute to a greater plan.
I talk about this with my members, but if you had an extra $1,000 a month, would that improve your life? Of course it would. Even if you used it as spending money to buy something frivolous.
To make $1k a month, you can:
Sell 10 products with a $100 profit margin. That could be one course.
Sell 20 products with a $50 profit margin. That could be a mini course.
Sell 30 products with a $33 profit margin. That could be a workbook.
Sell 40 products with a $25 profit margin. That could be one e-book.
Sell 50 products with a $20 profit margin. That could be print-on-demand products.
The really great news here is that it doesn't take much to make a big impact. And the truth is, if you can sell one product, you can sell 10. And if you can sell 10, you can sell 100.
Even with this example, some of you jumped to the top one of making a course that can sell for $100 profit and started coming up with excuses of why it won't work for you. What if instead, you start with a simple print-on-demand product? There is low risk. You're not out any money until a purchase is made. And if you can sell one, you can sell more.
What about a short e-book? They are so simple to create. And I guarantee that you have knowledge about a topic that someone is willing to pay to receive. You don't need a website or a marketplace. You can create a simple funnel and post it on social media. To make it easier for you, here's a link to a free ebook template that is completely editable. All you have to do is plug in your information & images & create a way for people to get it.

Sometimes we overcomplicate things when simple does the trick. Just focus on one easy thing that can be built upon. Can you create a $5 product? Great. When you're done with that, create another one. Even if you only make enough to cover coffee with a friend, at least you'll be in good company. :)
